Today I built out the second mission in the second world. Once you dive into the sea, you'll see some odd looking fish swimming around. They're called Arrowanas, and they want to help you navigate the ocean. This idea actually came about because of the floaty underwater physics I implemented. It allowed me to make some long jumps, but I quickly realised this meant the player can't see where they're going. The solution was to create this segment, where the Arrowanas help guide an otherwise blind Hue to nearby platforms. Lots of leaps of faith here. The catch is that grey Arrowanas will give the player false directions. These almost always lead to you falling off screen. Luckily, a little color will help guide your way. I'm a little nervous this mission might be too easy, but on the other hand, there should be some easier missions. Ideally, I'd like anyone to be able to complete Chromatic Hue, while still keeping some tough-as-nails challenges for more advanced players looking to 100% the game.
